The disturbing tale of Mr Fritz
« on: November 19, 2019, 06:17:31 PM »

The 1940s doll, named Mr Fritz, was given to collector Michael Diamond, by a former prisoner at a World War Two camp. After the war it was apparently taken to America, making its way to an antiques shop in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina before coming to the UK. But soon after, the collector noticed the door to the 1940s doll's glass display cabinet kept opening up at night so set up a camera to film over two evenings.

Reviewing the footage, to his horror he saw the door opening and the doll's mouth and eyes moving (despite nobody being around). He believed (and believes) the doll is haunted and has now locked the cabinet in his home with a chain and covered it with a blanket. Mr Fritz is now kept in what is called a "freak room" at the family home.

Mr Diamond said: "When I first watched the video back I had a weird feeling in my stomach. I wasn"t completely surprised because what has been happening with the door."

(Videos of Mr. Fritz can be found in youtube)
